This Month after traveling around India, I was so Happy to hear about the latest fashion News that has hit the fashion capital of Mumbai. After a long awaited time the exclusive, luxurious brand of Paris, Hermes has launched its first Store in India. After having many small stores in hotels around India, it was about time for Hermes to official make its fabulous stamp on India.

Hermes decided its launch in Mumbai as a tribute to the country and its beautiful architecture and extreme popularity within India society. The address of the new Hermes in Mumbai is 001, it is in the centre of the city, from where everything begins.

To celebrate the opening of Hermes NEW store in Mumbai, they have launched a limited addition Sari collection inspired by their printed silk scarves, for a short period of time. For the first time ever, Hermes has created something exclusive for its consumers. The Saris are 8 yards of beautiful and Luxurious silk prints, that Hermes have always been known to produce. "Hermès admires India and has a lot to learn from India," said Patrick Thomas, the chief executive of Hermès International.

The store will also offers buyers the option of ordering a custom made choli (the Sari blouse) to go along with their Hermes original sari, and the entire purchase will come delivered in a specially created box. Saris are a traditional outfit that have been worn by women in the past, present and will continue to wear in the future. Majority of women in India tend to wear Saris for traditional celebrations, weddings and occasional everyday. They are a very important piece to an Indian Ladies wardrobe, which is why Hermes is confident that their traditional luxury garments will be a hit in India.

Indian Fashion is considered to be a luxury indulgent, with its beautiful colours, exquisite embroidery and patterns, who else would be more suitable to express this than a brand that has created a its name on luxury.

The Saris are rumored to cost around Rs 300,000 (Indian Rupee), which is an estimated £38,961. Hermes has truly shown that they are a brand that can provide quality that wraps more than just your neck.-
