INDIAN DESIGNER OF THE FUTURE:

The new generation of Indian designers, have something new to offer the world. With their combination of the eastern background culture and the modern structures of the western world, GAURAV GUPTA is a prime example of this.

Gupta is a graduated student from London's fashion college St Saint Martin's in 2003. He later worked with many designers, before he launched his own line in 2006 at India's Fashion Week. Gaurav Gupta designs work around broken dresses, flowing transparent dresses and constructional drape. He uses volume in a magical way to help drape and emphasis the figure elegantly. I simple adore the way in which his western designers are very futuristic and his eastern Indian designs are more dramatic and how he transforms traditional silhouettes of Indian fashion.-★
