Haute Couture Collection: CHANEL 2011 Spring/Summer:

This season King Lagerfeld has mastered the girlish innocence and a taste of Grecian allure into this seasons Spring / Summer Haute Couture collection for Chanel. The models elegant walked the runway with their hair tied back and simplistic make-up to highlight their face.

The classic couture Chanel dresseswhich are always elegantly detailed with their sequins, crystals and embroidery, were seen to be more delicate crafted this time around. With short-sleeved evening dresses, dropping to the floor, in icy tones of pale pink, blue & lilac.

The Chanel girls had black ribboned chokers that tied into their up do hairstyles, at the finale of the show the girls posed down the staircase around Lagerfeld, against a beautiful pale waterfall, emphasizing the cool and light looks that Chanel just presented this season.

This spring / summer catwalks hold the ultimate clash of bright and energetic colours. The uses of block colours and extravagant prints, help in breaking the traditional colour-wheel rules. Take a risk with your colour combinations, match your reds with pink and your greens with blues this season. I love the way in which Diane Von Furstenberg, masters this trend. I am also a big fan of the way in which Versace, incorporates their icon print with the colour bursting trend, this season. See this trend working its way from clothing to accessories, make sure you have the right colours exploding onto your wardrobe this season.-★

BEAUTIFUL BUN:

I have always loved the quick hair bun look for a long time, but this season its walking up and down the runways for the new Spring/Summer 2011 look. Its a chic take on the classic, ballerina bun, its an effortless look that can be created in so many styles. You can wear you hair up when working any outfit, as it elongates your neck making you look extremely elegant. The Ballerina Bun appeared in many different heights and textures, during Oscar De La Renta's and Zac Posen catwalk extravaganza of this season.

Top Tip:- For great Buns:

• Allow the hair to natural fall around the face for a more evening look, with light curls, adding more softness.
• This look can be dressed up or down to fit the perfect occasion and style the right outfit.
• The height of the hair, will take weight from around your face, making you look slimmer and exaggerating your cheek bones.
• Its one of my personal favourite, hair styles, you can also tie your bun with other different hair accessories. -★
