MARY KATRANTZOU for TOPSHOP SPRING/SUMMER 2012

The Queen that has trademarked prints designs, creates a new range for Topshop Designer capsule collection:

The Greek born designer has always has a passion for prints, with her great influence from her mother an interior designer and her father who trained in textile designer, no wonder the world has become fascinated by her exotic prints in fashion.

She started her studies in Architecture, studying in Rode Island School of Design after moving to the USA, and then later transfered to the iconic Central Saint Martains College of Art and Design where she completed her Bachelor and Masters. She began her career, focusing on the prints for interiors, and later formed a new direction in Prints for fashion. And since then Katrantzou has been storming up the fashion world with her debut. With her clothing already available and featured in Harrods and Vogue, she is now ready to demand a new market of fashionistas.

This February 17th Mary Katrantzou, is launching an exclusive collection for high street store TopShop, during the start of London Fashion week, which be available online and in-stores for consumers ( Mark the date, fashion lovers). Katrantzou first debut of her Pret-a-porter (ready-to-wear) collection at London Fashion Week, back in 2008.

The Topshop collection offers a wide range of intricate designs, trademarking Mary Katrantzou talents and her amazing cuts. Featuring easy shapes, structured dresses, clean lined-tops, printed t-shirts, slim trousers, and all featuring Katrantzou wild and pretty prints.

Madonna triumph's Super Bowl




On Sunday, the Super Bowl madness took over the whole of the USA, and much of the UK too, and this time it was not just for the sports, it was for the anticipated half time performance by American's pop queen Madonna, which the world was just dying to watch.


The half time performance during the opening of the Super bowl season, is always a very memorable one... as there's always something that creates a public uproar... And this year was no different! The Super Bowl is an annual championship game of the NFL (National Football League), the highest league of American Football and has been ongoing for over 45 years, its a major sporting event.

Madonna was to show stop the event with her halftime performance, in her custom made costume by Givenchy's Riccardo Tisci. Madonna embraced the themes of both Roman gladiatorial style and the elegant excess of Egyptian queens, both looks lavished her breakthrough performance setting the start of her new tour. The queen of pop made her debut in style and total royalty, she was ready to show the world that Madonna is back and ready to take on the music world all over again.

The singer performed her new single 'Give me all your Luvin' as she dazzled in her powerful golden embellished cape for her new album 'MDNA' set to release on the 26th March! Other guest stars that joined Madonna on stage include, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A!
